The Caprivi area is the panhandle strip in north-eastern Namibia. From the east, which has been described as Namibia’s answer to the Okavango Delta, to the west, you will find a fascinating region full of wildlife-rich game parks and lots of bird-watching and sightseeing opportunities.

The abundance of water in the Caprivi sustains a large variety of animal and bird species. Especially numerous are the elephants, though not easily spotted through the dense vegetation.
